Celebrate the Season of Giving

The Westport Downtown Merchants Association kicks off the Holiday season on Wednesday December 4 with Celebrate the Season of Giving, community-wide holiday party. Following the Westport Town Hall tree lighting at 5:00pm, Branson Hall of Christ & Holy Trinity Church will be open to all for live music, delicious food, special performances, good cheer…and Santa. The highlight of the evening will be a non-profit showcase and Wish List Fair. People can learn about local community organizations and make donations by “buying” items from wish lists. Items will range from $10 to several thousand! Buy an item as a tangible, meaningful alternative to traditional gift giving.

Westport Cinema Initiative will be there handing out free popcorn and signing people up as Charter Members!

Admission, food and drink are all free of charge
On December 14 & 15 and 21 & 22, the WDMA will offer complimentary horse & buggy rides throughout downtown Westport. The festive, holiday atmosphere of downtown will be enhanced by carols from local school choirs and other groups, hot cider/cocoa sales to benefit local youth groups and a strolling Santa. Most activities will take place between Noon and 3:00pm. Main Street, Westport.
